Bidrage med feedbackLocated in midst of Cordoba's old Jewish quarter, this restaurant offers seating in a very nice open courtyard a must in this often sweltering town. The food, composed mainly of small dishes, is tasty, and the service very friendly. Now how do they serve both kosher and non kosher food? Very simple, the way airlines do. The prepacked kosher meals are heated up and served completely untouched.
Exceeded expectations in every way. Warm service, lovely live classical guitar, awesome food. The eggplant appetizer was ethereal. Our two entrees, lamb with fig chestnut and duck couscous were very delicious.
You can tell immediately when you look at the menu that Mazal is NOT a kosher restaurant they have jamon on the menu. Other than that, they make an effort to distinguish the dishes as Sepharad or Spanish Jewish. The only distinctive connection is the presence of Matzoh in the Bread plate. The Gaspacho was good small potion for E6.90. The Hummus Traditional tasted like it came from a can, but decent. We also had the Cuscus Verduras, which was disappointing. Service was NOT attentive.
We had a beautiful meal here dining under the stars accompanied by spanish guitars . We have eaten at the original Caza. Mazal in the Juderia quarter and understand that this is a newly opened sister to that restaurant. It certainly didn't disappoint the food is amazing and the ambiance is very special ! We dined as 2 couples celebrating our respective wedding anniversaries and the restaurant lived up to our hopes of a night to remember. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will go again if we have a chance
