La Union Mexican Bakery - Coral Springs

We have a gift certificate to feed here and was thrilled by the reviews on Yelp. This is a very picturesque device, the definition of a hole in the wall . When I arrived, I felt like I had been transported to a small restaurant in the heart of Mexico. The window of bakery and the smell of fresh bakery brought me into a tantalizing trance. There were about 8 tables and a counter. The place was pretty packed. We hit a table and a waitress came by to ask what we wanted. They had no menus, just a white board in front. I decided to get three soft tacos; pulled pig, chorizo and chicken. Everything came with Zilantro, onions and lime slices. We asked about hot sauces and they gave us a green and red. The tacos were fresh, tasteful and authentic. We also ordered a page of chips and guacamole, the guacamole was good, but it needed a kick to him; I just added the hot sauce and it was perfect. My hubs ordered a burrito and he loved him. The food came out pretty fast. It is definitely not a Frills type of space and most people take. We were on the table to pay, but before we did, we decided to pick up some sweet treats. The desserts were so fresh and tasty. I've never had Mexican baked goods, but now I'm stuck. I had corn bread, sweet bread and cookies. Overall, it is a great little Mexican spot and it is worth checking.

I can't believe this place is rated so low. Price is super cheap and the taste is great. In my opinion, they have the best tacos in southern fin and I had a lot of tacos. Similar to Taco Bus. Authentic mex style. Very recommended!

This small Mexican café is like a bit of Mexico in the heart of Coral Springs. Asada Burrito was huge. It was filled with generous portions of spiced steak, rice, Guac, crema, salad, tomotos and cheese and reasonable price. It came with a green and a red salsa. Both very good and sharp. Can wait to go back and try some of the beautiful looking pastries. Service was fast and friendly. The most authentic Mexican restaurant I was here.

Finally, a place I can go for authentic Mexican bread!!! It's a little jewel in Coral Springs.

Great place reminds me of home. Authentic Mexican so reasonably priced you can't stop yourself. Loved the tamales. Fried pork skins (chicharones) and a the staff is friendly. Can't beat the pastries; after all they're a bakery.
