Applebee's Grill - Conroe

Today I sat alone, so I sat in the bar area. The bartender was prompt, knowledgeable, offered suggestions, and very friendly. When my meal arrived, the food came cold and inconspicuous. Once again the bartender observed and immediately corrected the mistake of the kitchen staff. I was pleasantly surprised to find someone who really loves her job and takes care of the people she served.

I've never been treated like that before. we went in and we sat right away, but that's where the story goes well. We were passed on by three waitresses who looked dead in our eyes and never checked for us. Three tables were placed after us and drinks were served and orders were taken. At this point I asked the hostess that he let someone know we were at the table and wait, he said he would inform someone. 15 minutes have passed and no one has checked us. So I went back to the Hostess table and asked if they could send the manager to our table. I notified the manager (Michael) of this unsatisfied customer service and he waited for our table from that time. But he's the manager, so he can't be as attentive as others. Our food came hot, but I am so unpleasant with the service that was received today that I will never come back or recommend this place.

The restaurant is clean and organized, but some of the stands are very worn and torn, so they require some DC, but the tables were kept clean and they quickly collect their tables so that they are ready for more customers. We sat fast, and the waiters were very attentive, which is very good. The two appetizers we ordered were their boneless chicken wings with Bbq and the loaded frits, both items are suitable for their price, the wings had a lot of sauce, the frits had a lot of cheese sauce and they were not cooked over. What the meal, we had ordered the Fiesta limes chicken and rice, which came just well and right, but the second duck we ordered was the Bourbon road chicken and shrimps, they totally forgot my meal, so the waiters went back to the kitchen to make them by bringing them mine, they also brought the same meal to an adjacent stand, mines missing on the onions. I wish I could give a better opinion from my court, but he was supplied unusable, I just boxed it home, hopefully use it in a stew or something else later. We did not order dessert at the end, but they have some really good desserts on their menu. Overall, I give them a 3* just because of the problems with the food, we tipped the waiters well, on a $42 ticket we gave their $15 for tips, always take care of your waiters or waiters, they cannot control the kitchens ability to cook the food.

This is a popular place. We take off and feed in. One of the managers knows my name needs more. We always order a strawberry limonade and if I forget, she'll ask me about it. Take out is always a plus when we are in a hurry. The butter Pecan Blondie is a new favorite of ours. We need to have two of their devices on our table so that children can play along and it has not been a problem so far. We like to talk to our servers and I have noticed that courtesy goes a long way.

This review is not timely but I would like sincerely thank and greatly commend Applebee's Conroe for honoring Veterans with a free meal the past November 11. The food was excellent as always and the staff was friendly and efficient. This twenty-one year Navy service member is very grateful to your restaurant.
