The city is no longer very good bengali resturant in colva goa. teesty foods too very reasonable rate. the owner herr parimal and the staff are nice and friendly. recommended for domestic tour guides.
If you love Bengali cuisine, this is the place to be in Goa. Located right behind the parking lot at Colva Beach, this small food joint offers mouthwatering Bengali dishes such as rui, katla, pabda, bhetki, and more. Perfect for seafood lovers and non-seafood enthusiasts alike. Easy to find and definitely worth a visit.
A hidden gem by the ocean that I stumbled upon on a rainy day. Indian food lovers, don't miss out on this restaurant. They offer a variety of dishes including Bengali, Chinese, Punjabi, fish, rice, chicken, curry, thali meals, and set lunches. The chicken mutton biryani cooked in desi ghee was delicious, and the boneless chicken was perfectly seasoned with dry spices. The owner, Mr. Parimal, personally takes care of the guests, making sure everyone is satisfied. The restaurant gets busy during lunchtime with pre-booked groups, so it's best to go early. It's located right on the beach, serving piping hot, freshly cooked food that may require a short wait, but the service is excellent. They also have a branch at Baga Calangute Circle on Candolim Road in North Goa. I particularly enjoyed the chili chicken, chicken biryani, and fish curry with steamed rice. This restaurant was a great find on a rainy day after searching for good food in many other places in Colva. I continued to dine here for lunch and dinner on subsequent days with no stomach issues. The seating arrangement is basic, with options to dine near the beach or in the air-conditioned area. This is a budget-friendly, clean, and hygienic restaurant serving excellent Indian cuisine. If you prioritize food quality over ambiance, this is the place for you. Pros: Outstanding Indian food, prompt service. Cons: Space organization could be improved to accommodate more guests. Overall rating: Food 5/5, Ambiance okay, Service 5/5. Don't miss out if you love Indian food, fish, rice, chicken, and curry dishes. The best part is no stomach complaints and no need for medications afterwards. They cater to specific dietary needs and even offer khichdi rice for those with stomach issues.
Being the 1st European to review this place,I can only urge you all to try .Its tucked away behind Kentuckee, but just near ACACIA Palms Hotel.I ordered a Veg Kholapuri and Fish Thali. The veg dish was full of quality fresh veg and the sauce was great. The fish dish was OK too.Very reasonable cost too.Don't be put off by the looks from the outside, compare to the poster looking places, which Europeans flock to and received ordinary food. This Restaurant serves no alcohol, only soft drinks.
