Bidrage med feedbackHuge place. Thought it was big, then it found out that they have a back room and back terrace with fire pits. Many TVs at the bar for football. Good beer, good service, didn't try the food. I have to come back for music on a Friday or Saturday night!
Long time fan of Frisco?s Tap House, I was excited to open for this place. I reeeaaalllllyyy hope that they still consider that this is a ?soft start?. came here with my family for birthday dinner. The room is great and the staff is friendly. The positives end there. The beer selection looked good on the surface, but almost everything except the Reckless Shepherd brews were ?kicked?; sub par best. At least the lazy looked lazy? We ordered the tomatoes and burrata as a start. Everything else came first. It's okay, though, because apart from the chili honey sauce, it was bad grocery quality. The rest was okay, not Frisco's quality, but okay. I really want to like this place and hope that it will improve. I miss the food quality. I miss the enormous beer selection. And good beer.
New location on McGaw now open at the end of Oct2022. Large open space in the front (can be too open, very loud), a back space that is open and less loud, and a huge outdoor terrace with the two largest tables I have ever seen cut from the same oak trunk. Fried Chicken Sandwich (pic) was amazing. And it's huge. Full taste and moist Ckn chest. A little creepy, but worth it. The Potato Cakes App (picture) were great. Ask for additional cuts and our needed a little more salt, but still gum. Cheese pizza w onions (pic) was pretty good. Needed a little spicy, but they have parm red pepper flakes. You have an adjacent restaurant that opens early Nov, which has table service and a different menu. The social room taproom area has no table service, is a large room to watch sports. You need to scan the barcode of your table and order your phone. They then run the beers and/or food. Guinness uses the same model. I like it, but my wife always has questions and meal mods so she doesn't like this model.
Close to Wegman?s, where the old indoor furniture store was earlier, Frisco and the Reckless Shepherd Brewhouse Entertainment have everything you need for a good time: in the housebow beer? Woodfire pizza oven? Pool tables? Ping Pong? Exterior seat with Firepit? Do you have room for sports? Throw axe? I'm coming soon!!! Long custom wooden tables filled the large area and everyone has been angled so you can view a TV from any place. The food was excellent. You can go wrong with your wood-fired oven pizzas or cheese steak rolls. The blond beer from table had great. Can't wait to go back!!
UPDATE 10/21/22: NEW Tap Room is now OPEN! This is a very large space with a warehouse feel... Very open and industrial, especially while they figure out how to decorate. There's much more space inside and out, with a fire pit on the large patio space, a secondary bar, and a decently large indoor stage for music. They are currently honoring old Mug Club members but you have to go speak to a bartender first, before ordering by app. Apparently they are creating a new system and, as far as I've been told, getting rid of the current mug club. All table orders are ONLINE. QR codes set you up with a menu where you order and pay. Personally, I'm not a fan of this informal process, I prefer a server so I can ask questions, get personal service, and pay. The current brewery menu is fairly comprehensive with many classic options, sans burritos. I tried the Tavern Chicken sandwich and fries, which was excellent. I also had the pretzels which were decent, but over priced for pretzels $13.95... for baked dough...!?? Overall, it's a new experience and they are still working out the kinks and the details. But, it's open and ready for your Frisco fix.
