Monse's Pupuseria - Colorado Springs

We were on our anniversary today and I had the Chili Rellenos and a basket of Yucca Fries. Everything was absolutely fantastic! Really a hidden jewel of the sources. Expect a little wait when it is busy and especially on colder days, because there are limited seats inside. Also leave a good tip because all of them take their hump all day long. Great restaurant!

This place is definitely unique from the seating area to the food. I loved the ambience. You have to get there early because it's pretty busy. Thankfully you can pick up orders. It's a vegan friendly place. They have a range of options for vegans and meat eaters, which is perfect for any taste. The food is authentic and makes me feel like I'm on vacation. Loved also the presentation of the food. My family enjoyed this restaurant very much!

It's incredible that I've lived in Colorado for so long without trying this place. Don't wait like me. It was all delicious! The Pupusa Colorado and Plantains were amazing! The empanadas and tamales are also delicious and extremely fillable! Will definitely come back!

Really delicious (100% gluten free) food! I have a gluten allergy (Celiac) so it was such a breath of fresh air being to eat with confidence! We got the two beef and 1 potato empanada. The beef was tender and full of flavor; potato was creamy and cheese. Really tasty and probably the thing we raved about the most. We got one roasted poblano and cheese pupusa topped with carne asada and a trio of pupusas: jalapeno, chicken and spicy carnitas. All excellent. Plenty of leftovers. Side of plantains were so good too. Ended the meal with their quesadilla cake and chocolate berry cake (I believe it was vegan). Both had fantastic flavor. Restaurant has friendly and fun staff and the outdoor dining has a great vibe. We got there about 545pm on Friday which was the best time because it started to get busy shortly after. All and all, fantastic food and we will be back if we're in the area again.
