The George - College Station

I have stayed at many different hotels before but this is the first time that my stuff in the room was lost (including an expensive electronic toothbrush, along with multiple small items). I talked with the staff at the front desk multiple times to sort things out. They all said that they will check with housekeeping and will get back to me, but I never heard back from any of them. In addition, whenever I approach to the front desk during my stay, there was always a new staff there and I have to explain it all over again to the new staff as they had never heard anything from the previous staff. This is probably the worst hotel experience I ever had.

While the hotel is very nice there were a few things that could have been better. 1) self parking was horrendous. 2) elevators are not cooled. Hope both continue to work properly in this heat. 3) beds very comfortable. Pillows very flat. I had three of them stacked and I was still laying flat. And the final minor irritation 4) the TV is on the wall and is not able to be moved or titled. Our bed didn't face the TV. Other than that the pool and bar were great. Located near campus and in a shopping area with numerous restaurants. Would stay here again.

I travel frequently for business and often stay at prominent 3 or 4 star hotels. Without a doubt, this hotel has been the best one I have stayed at so far! While I didn't have the chance to explore the pool or gym facilities, the hotel is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and shops as well as in close proximity to the University. The sheets and towels in my room were spotless, the carpeted floor was immaculately clean, and there were no stains to be found in the shower. The room had a pleasant scent and a fully stocked fridge, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The only downside I could find was that the parking garage is not connected to the hotel, but it is only a short walk around the corner. Additionally, the food at the hotel's sister restaurant across the way was superb! If I ever find myself back in College Station, I will definitely be staying here again. The rooms were exceptionally clean with a comfortable layout and spacious bathroom with a large countertop. As for the food and drinks, the associated restaurant may not be inside the hotel, but it is certainly worth the visit. My salmon dinner was so delicious that I actually woke up early just to have breakfast there!

We stayed at this hotel for one night while helping our son move into his apartment before school started. The hotel is elegant, clean, and the room was very nice and comfortable. The service was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience at The George Hotel. My spouse and I chose to stay here for our honeymoon, and it was definitely the right choice. The rooms were impeccably clean and modern. The staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. Plus, everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. When they found out we were on our honeymoon, they surprised us with a lovely bottle of champagne and some delicious treats. Thank you, The George Hotel, for making our honeymoon even more memorable and special!
