Bbq 13-0 - College Station

BLUF Good food, tiny dining area, staff have an attitude. Their BBQ pulled pork sandwich is amazing! The brisket sandwich is also good, but they use mustard in their sauce so if you aren't a fan, stay away. The cookies are incredible. The place is tiny and a lot of the furniture is falling apart.

The briskest sandwich is fabulous. Could use some help on the options for sides but the menu setup and the pricing $7.99) for every sandwich totally makes up for it. And they 're fast!! At least until College Station 'finds ' this place. The atmosphere is genius too. Lots of neat things to look at when you 're eating!

I've been eating BBQ for most of my life, and I've had several pulled pork sandwiches. I never really knew what to put on a pulled pork sandwich maybe pickles, maybe some sauce whatever was available. Now I don't have to worry about that, because their pulled pork sandwich is perfect. I went in because I was bored of the standard Northgate food, now it's one of my go to lunch options. Seems they're open till 3am too, so it'll be a post northgate snack for sure.

13-O BBQ at Northgate is not your typical Texas ‘cue joint. But different is by no means deficient. 13-0 doesn’t do your typical 3 meat plates with 2 sides. They focus on sandwiches. Huge, saucy, perfectly flavor-balanced, sandwiches. The sandwich menu was authored by Peter Madden of Mad Taco and Madden’s fame…and tastes like it! I had the Meatloaf Sandwich and my friend had the Chopped Beef. I ate all of mine because it was so good. My buddy enjoyed his, but had half the sandwich to take home. Big sandwiches!

Awesome sandwiches! Me and my friend went for a lunch. We ordered meatloaf and pulled pork sandwiches. Both were perfect. The staff was very polite and friendly. Place was kind of small though.
