Mamma Lucia - College Park

Delicious food and great friendly service! We had chicken parmesan and seafood pasta with huge side salads and enjoyed it so much we came back a second night for pizza which was also really good! Love their olive oil dipping sauce! It?s addictive!

Being from the NJ/NY area, I have found it very difficult to find good pizza in Maryland. My husband and I went to Mama Lucia's in College Park, MD on a whim while out shopping in the area. When I say I'd rather eat the cardboard box pizza comes in formost pizza places in MD is a testament of how disappointed I've been. But this place.... the pizza was absolutely delicious andfelt like home to me. We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, ham, and bacon. I literally closed my eyes and sighed in happiness as Iate the first bite.... because it's been more than 20 years since I've had a good pizza. We took our leftovers home, and Ipromise you, it will not see the inside of a microwave. You don't do that to good pizza.... you put it in the oven. On my wayout, I informed, who I believe was the owner, that I was from NJ near NY, and that I'm judgemental of my pizza, and that it wasthe best pizza I've had since I've moved to Maryland over 20 years ago. He told me it was a recipe of his friend back in theBronx. Thank you for making me feel at home! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our pizza, tiramisu, and the service. The pizza was delicious and ver cheesy and great amount of meat toppings for a slice. The tiramisu was devine the mascapone filing was delicious. Ethan was a good server.

Exceeded expectations. Some of my favorite restaurants are in strip malls. Mama Lucia's is my new favorite Maryland restaurant. Close to University of Maryland College Park campus. Clean. Friendly service. Good value (check out their weekday dine in specials . They accommodated our 30 person group including allergies (check out the salmon!! and the food was so tasty, several adults in our travel swim team came back more than once. Highly recommend. And owner Jimmy C says he's opening a sports bar next door. In shoppers food shopping center (pay attention to GPS and don't even think about turning left .

I think i went to the wrong location. I was recommended by a friend to try the salmon salad and let's just say I did not get what i expected. My experience was completely different and I honestly was unhappy with the pizza sauce taste and the dry unflavored salmon. I could've just made my own that would've been 10x better .. I'll try another location one day
