Bidrage med feedbackAt first glance the place looks good but upon ordering the cracks begin to show. The gluten free pancakes listed on the menu don't exist if only in word form. The customer service isn't great with a its your privilege to be eating in such an establishment attitude. The cardboard boxes and wooden cutlery provided are impractical and if offered for the sake of the environment then separate bins should be provided to recycle the pathetic stuff at the very least. Not sure why the place is so busy but I suppose we all need something to post on social media. Lovely location which is what makes the whole thing a real pity
Smallest takeaway cups ever, got two coffees and tray bakes, all served in takeaway boxes and cups, why? We where only sitting outside. Guys you’re charging plenty, a proper cup or larger takeaway cup would make all the difference. Tray-bakes tasted better than they actually looked.
Portstewart cafe excellent quality of good but marred by the lack of plate and cutlery ! It was provided in a cardboard box with wooden knife and fork (not really adequate to the job of cutting up toast and I had to deconstruct the box to get at it). Only when leaving did I see people eating from real plates and with metal cutlery! What on Earth had we done to deserve that service? Understandable if it was a takeaway but it wasn’t. But the quality of the food was good avocado with chilli and feta cheese. I recommend it but best eaten with the correct utensils!
I visited for a catch up with a friend. On the recommendation of the barista I order the chicken hotpot and a pour over filter. The chicken hotpot was £7 so I expected it to be substantial. It was actually just overly salty chicken soup with fatty bacon in it and very coarse bread. It was very disappointing and definitely not worth £7. The pour over filter coffee was lovely but I literally only got half a cup. All in all, it was disappointing for £10.30. In the current economic climate I will definitely think twice before visiting again.
In Coleraine, we observed preserved lemons and other vegetables on display, giving the impression of homemade and healthy options. However, we later saw the chef using bottled lemon juice instead of fresh lemons, which seemed unnecessary. It became clear to us that Lost and Found is a brand catering to pretentious individuals who may lack a genuine understanding of real quality food and ingredients. Despite their aesthetic and presentation, they do not necessarily deliver on their promises. This restaurant may appeal to those who are more concerned with status and appearance rather than a genuine culinary experience.
