Coast Inn - Colchester

After reading a few reviews was a bit doubtful about going, but had been recommended, so went with. of course not disappointed. linda, who looked around us, was so efficient at her job and very friendly. nothing was too much annoyed and asked the cook. ask about eating gluten-free. I have been plucked bratbeef and was not told yorkshire pudding, but was given extra sweetness that was a beautiful surprise. all employees were very busy, but polite and friendly

After visiting mersea for the week I had booked the coast gasthof with my family for what I expected to be a beautiful meal. Unfortunately, it was terrible. we were bigger from an older lady at the bar that didn't seem happy to be possessed. the younger staff who served us in the restaurant were kind, if this had not been the case, this would have been a* review by such an involuntary experience first. eating was average, beautiful location and could have a lot of potential.

The food was not great, the staff rude and the bill at the end was too much, and the chefs came out of the kitchen again and again, they were a chaos.

Fantastic! enjoy a delicious meal with the family, clean tellers and happy people. great eating and very attentive staff, good atmosphere and beautiful to see the coast inn busy and festive. we look forward to a visit.

We had a wonderful Christmas meal down at the coast inn. The festive menu was wonderful, pâté the best I have ever had the turkey was succulent and the cheesecake was the perfect finish to the meal, the staff made us feel so welcome and...the atmosphere was great.
