Ihop - COEUR D ALENE

So clean, so nice waiters, they bend back to make you happy. You only have every other table open so you're not overcrowded. Great food, new menu with tons of Mexican dishes and the Belgian waffles are for to die! We're coming every weekend!

I went on a sunday morning and my experience was great. The waiters were very friendly and created a very pleasant environment. They checked up on us regularly and made sure everything was going well. The food was great. I had the chicken fajita omelette and the harvest grain and nut pancakes. Both were very tasty and I absolutely needed a container to take the leftovers. I highly recommend this place because they have the two ingredients necessary for a successful restaurant, great customer service and tasty food.

On our way from Grouse mountain lodge in Whitefish, Montana, to Marysville, California, we Stop to have a meal in Couerdelane, Idaho. All I hope so busy, but we got in and were seated relatively quickly. This was a very busy busy busy ihop. All workers appeared busy, the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible, parking outside has handicapped accessibility, and entrance is handicap accessible. The bathroom does not snow could use a little cleaning. Rest of the restaurant appears clean enough. Our meal or order was taken quickly, and even though the restaurant was busy, our meal came fairly quickly. There was an unevenness however, in our orders. My husband's order was perfect and the hash Browns beautiful, mine my hash Browns were way over cooked almost burnt. Everyone's eggs appeared to be cooked perfectly, but my teeth up was dirty and I have descended b Since I had my meal almost half finished before I notice way overcooked potatoes I didn't send my potatoes back. I just let the waitress know to tell the cook to be more careful with them. Everything else on my plate was cooked appropriately. Our wait staff was so wonderful and efficient; also, she was pleasant and responsive to our requests. She quickly brought me lemon for my tea, and a clean mug (with apologies). She refilled the water, and other drinks at our table quickly. Other staff wished us a wonderful day. If I pass this way again I would stopped eat at this restaurant.

Food was okay, mostly everyone at my table liked what they ordered. Country fried steak was different for everyone that had ordered it at my table. Now, the service? Spectacular! Felt very welcomed and taken care of. Next time we come to town we just might stop again, if not for the food, but for the service alone. Might just have to order something different next time.

IHOP in Coeur d'Alene offers the standard fare for an IHOP. What sets it apart from others is the friendly staff, cleanliness of the location and the delicious food. You could say that's meeting expectations but CDA IHOP goes the extra step in every way. On my last visit I had the Denver Omelet burger which let's be fair is breakfast on a bun with a side of hashbrowns. It could have been a greasy mess however the cook did it right. It was delicious!
