We stayed at this restaurant for a week and were delighted with the delicious vegan breakfast and dinner provided every day. The creative twists on classic dishes, as well as more exotic options, were a highlight. Anita's culinary expertise and passion for cooking shone through in every meal, making dining at her table a joy. The vegan dishes were so flavorful and well-prepared that we were almost envious of her talent. The recipes she shared have inspired us to try new things in our own kitchen. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a warning that the bed was so comfy it might be hard to get out of in the morning. The bathroom was spacious with fluffy towels in pink, white, and green. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt like a home away from home, and Anita's hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is perfect for animal lovers, with the adorable cat Nina and friendly chihuahua Razz adding to the charm. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially for vegans or those with special dietary needs. Anita's attention to detail and extensive knowledge make dining here a stress-free and enjoyable experience. It's a must-visit for anyone exploring the Lake District.

Recently spent two wonderfully relaxing days with my partner in anitas beautiful home in the Kirk-Gate area of cockermouth. we were made to get off the moment when we arrived to feel completely home and cooking anitas is simply fantastic. I would recommend a stay here. you will not regret it. *

On a recent trip to the lakes we looked for a vegan dinner somewhere, so we contacted anita of vegetarian sea living. we have set 3 courses and said we liked all food. always nice to have a surprise dinner. anitas eating was amazing. we had a refreshing tomato salad with some beautiful olive oil bread and salad from the garden. for the net anita made us a three mushroom and linseed cake with maic and lemon thymian with side of the aubergine boiled in tomaten and steamed brokkoli. anita made us pork pancakes for dessert served with strawberries and blueberries and soyyogurt. the pancakes were amazing to see the pictures! priced it is quite but this was a well thought out menu, with a lot of time, effort and made only for us so really it was worth it. anita was very friendly and greeted us in her house for dinner. I hope that we will stay there one day, the breakfasts will sound like a fab.

Dining at this guesthouse is delightful! It is so good that it won the annual prize for the best vegetarian breakfast. Despite confirming our booking at 11 o'clock on the day of arrival, we were served a delicious spicy lentil soup with homemade bread, roasted vegetables with rosemary, a lovely salad, and rhubarb crumble for dessert. The comfortable bed and spacious bathroom added to our pleasant stay. The following day, we were treated to the best vegetarian breakfast we've ever had. This included a large plate of fresh fruits, a variety of cheeses, a selection of roasted breakfast items such as local potato cakes, polenta, and tofu, and more homemade bread and preserves. Anita, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, and there are two friendly cats and a small chihuahua to greet visitors.
