Everytime we are going to get some food here, the chicken is really hard and not crispy and soft. It's not worth the money.
Went to the KFC and asked to substitute gravy for my salad. The cashier told me they don 't do that. I know this is not her fault as a cashier but I asked why not, every other KFC does? The manager yelled from his table: but we don 't . They couldn 't provide one of their own deals. The lady working there said the owner chooses not to give the deal that is all over television and adverts currently. Went across the street to Mary Bown 's. I was able to substitute my salad for a gravy with no problem. Also you can substitute your fries for delicious taters for free. Needless to say I am not going to Cochrane KFC again. WE LOVE MARY BROWN 'S!!
Very long waits, have been there several times Never have any White Meat or breasts ready, they pretty much make them to order. Talking with the person taking the order, she says the white meat is more expensive so they only have dark meat ready and on hand and only make the white upon request. This is a recurring theme at this location where the focus is on Cheap rather than putting out a good product... not many other choices around Cochrane for KFC, but usually less quality that what you would expect for your dollar.
I don 't often opt for fast food but my wife was away, I was driving home and it was bitterly cold outside so I elected to call in to KFC seeing as I was passing. I 've been here once or twice before in the last five years and never been too impressed but i though I 'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. It was 5.30pm, mid-week, so not the most popular of time but it was right on the supper hour. There was one person ahead of me placing an order so I stood back. Behind me entered another customer. After five minutes the cashier looked at me and called for my order. Three pieces of chicken and fries, their current special. Nothing complicated and not a huge order. There was some undetermined conversation between her and a mystery person in the back. The result, it will be at least 15 minutes. Are you kidding me?? This is a basic order, at prime time and the facility (can 't call it a restaurant) isn 't at all busy. What sort of fast food chicken establishment runs out of their primary ingredient at this time of day? I know they don 't want to have too much waste but there was another 3.5 hours before the place was due to close. I told them I wasn 't that bothered, turned around and left. As did the guy who 'd come in behind me. I left to give the newer, alternative chicken fast food establishment a try. I am done with this place.
