Habaneros Iii Mexican - Clinton

Decent enough food, but being from Colorado we were not that impressed. I had the steak Chimichanga and it was pretty bland even with cheese sauce on top. I ended up putting the table salsa on top and that made it better. My wife gad a chicken Chimi and it was also just OK. The server was good until we got the check. Then he kind of ignored us and didn't ask about dessert. We waited a while to use our credit card and ended up paying cash and left. Not likely to go back and will probably pass on eating the leftovers.

Most importantly, complimentary chips and salsa. Not all “Mexican” restaurants do this outside of town. Thank you for a great meal.Food: 5/5

The food was amazing!! But, and it’s a really big but. We had the worst service known to man. We got sat down and the waiter was not attentive at all. He asked me what i wanted to drink and my fiancé went to answer and the waiter walked away. We wanted an appetizer but he didn’t come back to us until 20 minutes later. Then asked us for what we wanted to eat. After we finished our meal he just gave us our check, we wanted to have dessert and he didn’t even ask. He was MORE attentive to all the other tables than ours. There was a couple that came in after us and was served better than us and even left 30minutes before us. All the other waiters/ waitresses didn’t even say anything to us, seeing us getting more anxious to leave due to our horrible service. And don’t get us wrong, we were polite and didn’t even saying anything to upset him. Just literally didn’t care about our service, he didn’t care that we were sitting there knowing that he saw us sitting there wanting to just leave after 30 minutes of us waiting for our check. Absolutely worst experience I’ve had at an restaurant.

Lots of friends have said that I should visit Habaneros. It's about 30 minutes from our house. So, it was rare that I was nearby. Last week I finally got the opportunity and I have to say I was Awesome! I can't wait to return.Food: 5/5

Atmosphere is very nice and very clean.My drink was definately not top shelf Patron, I even asked about it. The waiter assured me it was...Husband's shrimp a la Diabla: shrimp was large, it was good; however had to peel each shrimp that was soaked in hot sauce.We said we would try again, when we left at 6 pm on a Friday night people we starting to line up to get in so that says something.
