Carvel - Clifton

Typically, this restaurant is great, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. Almost all of my food was prepared incorrectly, and I observed the staff using the same spoon for multiple toppings, leading to a serious risk of cross-contamination for those with peanut allergies.

I stood outside of this Carvel location while writing this review. It was Saturday night at 8pm and the store closes at 10pm. My son and I simply wanted two shakes, but we were informed by a young lady that the shake machine was closed, not broken. This was disappointing, especially on a busy Saturday night two hours before closing. I also saw other employees, young girls, chatting and gossiping in the kitchen. In the end, my son and I decided to go to Vivis bubble tea, which had just opened up.

I visited this restaurant today and I must say, I was extremely disappointed. Initially, I came in with the intention of getting an ice cream cake. I ordered a cake with a plain white icing. As I was about to request sprinkles to be added, I noticed several flies and mosquitoes both on and inside the toppings area. It was appalling to see that they were continuing to serve customers without addressing the issue. Disgusting.

I went in the day of my daughter's birthday with a last minute custom cake order and the ladies there were very helpful and did an amazing job on making the cake that my daughter had asked for! I will definitely be coming back in the future. ????????

Recently ordered cake for my mothers birthday. All guests were amazed with the art and taste of that ice cream. I am truly recommending their high quality product and also very pleasant and professional services. Will come back. Big Thanks Barbara !!!
