Cibreo Italian Kitchen - Cleveland

After attending a matinee show, we decided to have an early dinner at Cibréo. The host, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, was incredibly accommodating and kind. Our server, Lauren, was extremely professional and attentive. She was calm, organized, friendly, and anticipated our needs without us having to ask. My mom even joked about us becoming roommates because she loved Lauren so much. Coming from someone who has been in the industry for most of my life, I can say that my family and I were very impressed with the service we received from start to finish. The food was also excellent! We enjoyed a white bean soup, caprese salad, various pasta dishes, salmon, and a braised short rib special. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The complimentary focaccia, cocktails, and dessert were also fantastic. We will definitely be returning to Cibréo the next time we visit Playhouse Square, and we will also be recommending it to our friends. Thank you to all the staff for helping make our day so special. We visited this restaurant for dinner before a show and were greeted by a friendly hostess who informed us that there were no tables available. However, she suggested that we could receive full service at the bar. Our server/bartender Keegan was excellent! She made sure our meal was timed perfectly so we wouldn't miss the show. The food and drinks were outstanding! We definitely plan on returning and will likely eat at the bar again. Thank you to Keegan and the entire staff for making our night out truly special!

Service was terrible. Our waiter seemed to ignore us and we ended up having to cancel our dessert. He was unapologetic and took his time giving us the check when he knew we were in a rush to get to our show. The food was mediocre.

My husband and I went to go see frozen on Friday on Friday and decided to have dinner here. This was the worst meal that I've ever had. We got the chicken piccata . Also a side of asparagus and a caprese Salad. I told the server that it was really badshe looked at me like she knew but never offered anything thing. I would have been nice to have a little bit of a discount orsomething nor something. I will never ever go back to eat at that restaurant again.

I used to love this restaurant, so I was excited to come back. However, my experience this time was very disappointing. On the positive side, our server was attentive and the bread was delicious. Unfortunately, the night got off to a bad start when we were seated in the back of the dining room near the kitchen, even though we had made a reservation and there were plenty of empty tables closer to the main dining area. The Caesar salad was tasty but overdressed, the meatballs were overcooked, and the bolognese was just average. The seafood risotto was extremely salty and I couldn't eat it. The replacement salmon was bland and lacked seasoning. The wine selection was limited and the one Cab available was not great. The coffee was decent, but the tiramisu was very disappointing and didn't resemble any others I've had before. Although this restaurant is convenient for events at the theater, we will look elsewhere for dining options next time we have tickets.
