Been there a few times. The italian dishes are really good and.. Italian, ie, you can only choose the sauce, the pasta type is up to them. No way to choose it. Kind of nice italian touch. Service is really bad, with no customer dedication. Furthermore they say cash only or some unknown debit card to discourage non cash customers. Should be reported to local Fiscal authorities.

This was recommended to us by friends and it didn't let us down. The restaurant was yet to open but Mauro kindly answered our knock on the door so that we could order a take-away tiramisu. What can I say? It was probably was one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. Five stars for customer service and five stars for quality. Thanks Mauro.

Anything you may try in Mauro.it reflects the very finest of italian cuisine tradition. Mauro Crivellin, Chef and owner, is a defender of the Italian traditions and tries to offer a wonderful culinary experience. Seafood pasta (Pasta allo Scoglio), Pesto and Gongonzola, Amatriciana sauces are something you will never forget. Mauro searches ingredients of exceptional quality and he prepares every dish at the moment. Another thing to try are the risottos. You will not find anything like this in Buenos Aires. For dessert: there are several options but Panna cottas and tiramisu are the very best. Conclusion: You will enjoy every bite, and for a while you may think you are at Novara.

I write this in English to highly recommend this place. Small place with excellent dish offer. Recommendations for dinner by the owner (Mauro) and the chance to learn how to eat Italian food. Of course I will come back some day with my family..! Mauro, if you plan to move to other place, please do not forget to tell everyone..!

The burrata is excellent. The bruschetta is far away the best in BA. He is a special guy, very committed with the original recipes. You choose the salsa and he chooses the right type of pasta for that sauce. Be aware that the right amount of cheese comes with the plate. No need to ruin the taste adding more cheese. And talking about desserts, his tiramisu is superb!!! You must also try the pannacotta and the warm panettone with ice cream. The coffee is perfect. Must try it!!!!
