Little Frog - City of New York

Lovely place....and sadly, I read a notice that it closed in the last few days (but Sandro's [Italian] is expected to move into the space).

Over priced, Food was unexceptional. Service was mediocre. I will not return.

Went for brunch on Sunday at 12. They were already out of chicken waffles. Started with fresh squeezed OJ (spoiler alert it wasn 't) plus they served it with ice. Orders baguette. Warm but jam had dark skin over it. Only given 2 pays of butter. 2 of us ordered a version of eggs Benedict both of our poached eggs were under cooked (runny whites). Nothing great and wouldn 't go back. Disappointed especially for price. Service was fine (nothing great).

Dinner at Little Frog was fine. Some dishes were very good (eg the duck) and others very disappointing (eg the seared Tuna). The tuna was lower quality fish than I expected with a poor tasting crust.We enjoyed our appetizers and thought the service was very good.

Great environment for dinner with friends! Our waiter Juan was so attentive last night and offered great recommendations. We loved the spanish octopus, would recommend to anyone in NYC!
