Ron's Roost - Cincinnati

This was my first visit ever. Great casual atmosphere and service. I had the best burger I think that I have ever eaten! The Black Angus mushroom swiss burger and great fries! Wow, absolutely delicious!! I would definitely recommend!!

Classic Westside Establishment! There is a reason it has been in business since 1960. Their fried chicken is on point as expected, though, not the best I have ever had. My dad goes here for their chicken livers, mock turtle soup and sweet tea... that is some old school American food you do not find at many places. My daughter went crazy over their chicken and waffles. She made us go back a second time before leaving town to get them again. On one of my visits, I had the Bourbon BBQ burger and it is one of the best I have had this year! My son had the fish and chips with waffle fries and he was not disappointed. Some of other things I really loved here where their green beans and Saratoga chips with homemade BBQ sauce. On the negative side, they need to up their salad game. My wife ordered a salad with fried chicken... the greens were very basic and it was sloppily put together. The inside of the restaurant has been remodeled over the years and there is plenty of space, a bar areas and lots of TVs. They have a fried chicken buffet some days after 4:30 OM if that is your thing.

We show up at 9:10 pm and doors are locked. Yelp say still open for 45 minutes. With in my pocket and 4 guys ready to eat and drink. Everybody keeps saying we don 't have staff. I count 5 or 6 people standing inside. Quick answer, OPEN UP ALREADY! I SEE AND HEAR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE SAYING EVERY DAY NOTHINGS OPEN WHEN WE GET OFF WORK. Everybody is closing sooo early, some people who work morning don 't even get off to eat until after 7 or 8. Ridiculous to keep closing when hundreds of people are ready to buy your food. MIGHT AS WELL CLOSE THE DOORS PERMENANTLY!

Classic Cincinnati Food for 60 plus Yeats. Family oriented and popular for a variety of dishes including fried chicken.

I grew up on marie ave. with other words, I grew up eating chickens. smart, smart, ron and helga kept it clean and a neighboring restaurant. the children follow in their footsteps. the supplement and updates look really great. edible dinning area to eat. ? love eating German.
