Italy Express - Chula Vista

My friend and I visited this afternoon and had a disappointing experience. The soda machine dispensed flat, unappetizing drinks, but that was just the beginning. The name should really be changed to “Italy Non-Express” because it took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. By that time, my friend's lunch break had ended, forcing us to leave without even tasting our meals and just take everything in boxes. When we brought our concerns to the staff, one of them offered a half-hearted “sorry” without any sincerity. The customer service at Italy Express is terrible, the wait times are excessive, and the prices are too high for the quality of the food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—not even my worst enemy! Save your time and money!

They might as well change their name to "Italy Non-Express," as it took nearly 20 minutes for our food to arrive. By that time, my boyfriend's lunch break had ended, forcing us to pack everything into to-go boxes without even having a chance to taste our meals. When we shared our dissatisfaction with the staff, we were met with nothing more than an indifferent "sorry." Italy Express severely lacks in customer service, food timing, and the prices do not reflect the quality of the meal. Save your time and money—this place is not worth it. I wouldn't even recommend Italy Express to my worst enemy!
