Burger Burger - Christchurch

It could be good but it wasn't. The atmosphere is great as is the ambience and there is a large outdoor courtyard (which we didn't use because it was winter). We went for lunch Saturday (after the lunch hour rush). The place was almost empty. Menus didn't come, water didn't come...finally got to put our order in. The food took ages even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We got two bowls of fries (cold) brought out but the kids meal was a good 10 minutes later. The milkshakes were later again. One salt and pepper shaker for the entire restaurant. Couldn't get a spoon. Lovely manager who said they are trying to train new staff. I can't imagine what it would be like if it was busy! The best part was that the child's burger was really well presented and tasted great. The fries were nearly cold. Not ideal. Hopefully things improve on the staff front because this would be a great restaurant if it comes together

The best fried chicken sliders I've had, service was great and the drinks were yum as well. This is a great place for events as well with outdoor and indoor setting. Highly recommend.

Went here with two friends they got meat based burgers, whilst me and my partner got the vegan burger. The meat based burger was okay according to them, but the vegan burger was wayyyy below average, especially for the price you pay. The patty was just gross, and there was not many fillings, just pickles and sauces with the patty. Also, we were never asked how our food was, which I would have bought up these issues at the time rather than write a review. The kumara chips were decent though! All in all, I paid 43 dollars for a pretty bad burger, decent kumara chips and a beer, and came out pretty disappointed. They also bought out the wrong burgers at first (vegetarian not vegan), which wasn't ideal.

Had kiwi burger and the potato skins. The aoili was banging! The kiwi burger was really great! The only bummer was they messed up our order but they did comp us some delicious broccoli and left a nice message on the box! Would thoroughly recommend this place!
