Bar Chinois - Chippendale

My friends and I really love enjoying catch ups on Kensington Street, last time we intended to grab a "quick" drink before dinner, and didn't end up leaving. You can bring the food from the spice alley into the bar. Staff we're lovely, and the cocktails were DELICIOUS!

The staff were super friendly till we told them of our allergies. Then we were thrown out. I have never been treated so appalling.

This bar is in the wonderful Kensington Street in Chippendale. Its a great little bar that does also do food, more small dishes than large main courses.. and they also do great cocktails.. A great place to pop into for a while as you walk your way around the galleries in the area

I'm a fan of this place and I'll be going back. I've been once and had amazing service and not so amazing service the second time. The staff are so friendly though you can't help but forgive them. Not much in the way of aircon so avoid upstairs when it's hot. Tasty food and nice (and STRONG) cocktails. A fun place for a few bites and a drink that are an escape for the rest of Spice Alley.

We didn't dine here but sat close to the kitchen in one of the comfy booths. Food coming out looked excellent. The chilli cocktail was very good, helped clear my wife's cold. Whisky Sour also very good. As an added bonus you also get to smell the amazing food from emanating from Spice Alley.
