The Rawbar Restaurant Sushi - Chico

I love Sushi and this place does not disappoint. The Sushi was top notch! The appetisers were great! Service was fantastic. Only thing I was disappointed in was the chicken salad, the chicken didn't have much flavour but the rest of the salad was tasty. I don't get to this part of the world that often but the next time I am in town I will make an effort to visit again.

The food was good the wait staff was not. He forgot most of our orders brought everyone?s food around us we had to ask for our food because they asked if we needed anything else. When we asked for our order (1 hour and 40 minutes later) after having reservations he told us not everyone is perfect. I told him I still did not receive something I ordered he told me I did (I didn?t) $240 later for four people. Our friends took a picture of what they ordered to show him what they had ordered on the menu when he told them no they didn?t order it. The food was good but the service was awful we were there more than two hours waiting on food. We were there last night our reservations were for 7:30pm on Friday October 14. We sat outside I can not remember the waiters name.

Been to the raw bar several times in the last few years. It's been a good experience every time...mind you, they get busy...often. So sometimes things get a little behind, but they've always been great. Staff has been nice and helpful, and the food is always good. Reservation is highly recommended! Do it online, it's easy. Other than nigiri or sashimi, the menu is pretty nontraditional. Rolls made with unusual combos and strong flavors. I like that stuff, so I'm in. If you want a super traditional Japanese restaurant experience, this probably isn't your spot. If you're open to new flavors and ideas, but still want high quality fish, this is your spot.

Truly loved it, however some dishes have sriracha hot sauce on it? In my opinion not necessary since it is too much of a dominating flavor taking away from the delicate sushi. Otherwise great place.

Some if the best sushi I've eaten in a long time. Our server Erin was great and very intuitive. Can't wait to return. Thank you Rawbar for a great birthday dinner !!!
