Terrace 16 - Chicago

Views were amazing. Like top patio view in Chicago. The seafood tower, steak and vegetables were all amazing. It was getting super cold on the patio and the doorman went all the way to Nordstrom to buy us sweatshirts. Superior service.

I was not that impressed with this location, especially for the price. I didn't like the layout, at least inside as the views are very obstructed.Food was OK, but my drink was not that impressive.There are certainly better places in Chicago for a nice meal.

Chicago’s fine dining scene is outstanding, and sadly, this restaurant did not meet our expectations.The menu is small and the cocktails are WAY overpriced $20). We had reservations but we weren’t seated in the main dining room. We sat in a corner bar area secluded from most of the other diners. The food took more than an hour to come out and when they finally did, the plates failed to impress my fiancé and I. Because we were so secluded, service was also pretty poor. However, because they realized that “an error in the kitchen” caused our excessive wait, the manager brought out complimentary bread, 2 glasses of champagne, and a slice of cake for our anniversary dinner. And, at the end of our dinner, I was charged an unexpected 20% gratuity which I failed to see at the bottom of the menu.Ultimately, the views are the only thing Terrace 16 impressed us with. The service, price, and kitchen need improvement.

This place has such a beautiful view with even better food. I enjoyed the organic airline chicken. This spot is best for a date night or intimate setting with friends. I suggest high end attire, but the vibe is very relaxed.
