River Roast - Chicago

The staff at the restaurant was extremely organized, as soon as we arrived we were escorted directly to our table. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend and I ordered the steak and eggs, macaroni, and chili, all of which were absolutely delicious.

I had a great experience at this restaurant for brunch! The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the view of the river was very nice. We went for brunch and ended up feeling satisfied until late in the evening. However, I do think it's a bit of a tourist trap because it's quite pricey for what you receive. The menu may be somewhat limited, but once you make a decision, you'll likely be happy with your choice.

This fantastic restaurant offers stunning views of the river. The atmosphere is delightful and the seating is comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous - just take a look at the photo of the chocolate cake! Make sure to come here with a big appetite!

Beautiful spot on the Chicago River. We came in as a group of ten and found the food and the service to all be top notch! The roast chicken, pork, and fish were all a huge hit for shared entree?s but don?t sleep on all the amazing appetizers and sides!

Eating on the Chicago River is a delightful experience. I chose to grab lunch on one of the hottest days of the year at River Roast. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Beware: the portion sizes are very large. The RR Chopped salad with chicken ispacked with flavor and a fun array of accompanying vegetables. However, I felt like I was eating an entire bag of roman salad...I paired the salad with the asparagus. It was delicious, but again, I feel like I was given two bushels of asparagus. Fordessert, I ordered the key lime pie. The slice was a super size me size, it was bigger than my hand.
