Philly's Best - Chicago

This place is great but this is the second time my order was wrong because the guy ringing up my order had rung it up incorrectly. He always rushes and rushes you and idk if he?s irritated or what but I?m always like bruh please chill. My familyloves this place and they live out of town. So I placed a big order for 2 chicken Philly?s/2 steak Philly?s and I got home inanother state and they were 4 steak Philly?s. Then yesterday I had some cheese fries (seasoned) with a chicken Philly and mycheese fries was regular? the dude at the front cash register needs to slow down and quit cutting ppl off.

I found this place while I was picking up my dad from the Chicago train station I came in from Detroit and was hungry after the drive. It's less than 5 min from the train station and they food was excellent! Atmosphere is like most places after covidseemed like mostly carryout but then again it was also 10 o'clock at night so I'm sure that played a factor. Anyway, I got thechicken Philly with hot peppers on top and my dad got the steak Philly hot peppers on the side and the philly fries with creamcheese dip. My only suggestion to those who want hot peppers is getting them on the side and adding yourself or specifying lightoil when adding peppers on top my sandwich was heavy on the oil and hard to eat but tasted exactly how i was expecting it to!I'll be back!

I've been look at this place for a while and l should have listened to the reviews. However l feel you have to try it for yourself. The $61 l spent on my order was a waste, l should have went to the grocery store and cooked for my family. When youwalk in there were 2 resturants in the same building. The hallway was dark and the dingy. The railing waling up the stairs wassticky. I again shoukd have turned around, but l proceeded up the stairs into the door of the restaurant. I got to the registerand advised the younf man that this was my first time here. He was not very welcoming. I had to ask what he recommended for afirat tim customer. He said the Philly the the garlic bread. So l placed my order. We had 2 slices of pizza, which was verygood. I didn't care for the Philly chicken with the garlic bread or steak with regular bread that was ordered. By the time madeit home all of our fries were hard and cold. I ordered a regular fry, a seasoned fry, and a fry with mild sauce. I called backto inform thqt l was not satisfied with my order and was advised you have to bring the food back. So l took the fries back thenext day. l thought was getting a refund, however this was not the case. We were offered an exchange for the 2 orders of frieswe returned and got 2 slices of pizza (which was very good). So to sum it up of l were to go back it would be to get a slice oftheir delicious pizza.

Only other Philly Steak to give it competition is Suzie 's and they are no longer open. This place has no indoor seating but worth taking it to go.

Always come here. Best phillys. But today While waiting for food the man who you give your ticket to for food coughed in his hands and did not wash them. The cook cooking the steak was chewing gum while doing so yuck ! No one had gloves, no one waswashing their hands after touching things and no hair nets. Had hair in my buffalo chicken Philly.
