We had an early booking reservation (5:30), so we had the place almost for us. the service was excellent and eating was amazing.

Best. burger. in chicago. period. bonus: we had one of the most congenial and knowledgeable server. she understands that her burger is something very special, and her description of the cooking process in the development of the recipe had sold us immediately. this place is a bit bit bit worn away and is an absolute gem.

We really enjoyed the excellent food and the experience and the European flair of a pub! the only disappointment was the extra chair for an esspoon extra diving sauce.

I was told to her burger who was rivaled by au cheval, and although it was good, it wasn't out. the pommes were good.

Surprised how good it was, considering I go out to dinner a lot and haven't been there since it opened.
