Bidrage med feedbackManagement here is awful. We tried to raise concerns about our experience after spending well over $300 in foods and drinks. They threw out several of our drinks (on the basis that that they were closed although never clearly communicated). We “complained” but management had one of those apologies that felt absolutely fake and condescending. Sad that we even wasted our money on a place like this when there are so many other options around.
My family and I went to this restaurant after a hot Cubs game. My three-year-old son needed to use the bathroom, so I was waiting with my two infant twins and our Gatorades on a side table. When my husband returned and wanted a sip of his drink, a bouncer suddenly approached us and demanded that we leave, even though we had done nothing wrong. He forcibly pushed us out, claiming that they only serve alcohol and we had to go. It was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, especially considering we had three young children with us. I have been a customer here before, but after this experience, I will never return. This should be a family-friendly establishment, but I have never felt so unwelcome. They need to hire new staff who treat others with compassion and respect. If I could, I would give this place zero stars.
Went for Lane Tech Class of 82 reunion. Very nice facility with good customer service and decent food. The space was perfectly suited and came with a balcony overlooking a green space on Clark Street and the other bars.
Hostess said we could sit outside under an umbrella. Then waitress said we couldn't because there were only two of us. Get your communication straight. Had to get up and sit inside. Ordered nachos which were amazing. Food was great, service so-so but super fun place, sitting watching everyone getting ready for the game. Great way to kill an hour before heading into Wrigley.
Homerun nachos..... absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was a lot of fun. It's an Illinois bar, so if there is an Illinois game in, keep that in mind as the place gets packed.
