Sparrow Hill Market - Chesterfield

Read about this cute little place on my email from Only in SC, and knew I had to try it. A friend and I went on a Friday, and she and I had the lunch special a pork chop, two sides, a cornbread fritter and tea. We also could not resist the six layer caramel cake for dessert! We loved the food, and I bought a large container of their delicious chicken salad to go. It really is some of the best I have ever had, and the next time I visit, will buy it again, plus a container of their pimento cheese. The three ladies who work here were so sweet and friendly, and the cute little renovated building on Ruby 's Main Street is spotlessly clean. There is a large dining area that is clean and comfortable. Plate lunchs with meat and vegetable. I had pork chops. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The Ice Cream shop was very good, also.Wheelchair accessibility: This is an older building that street level, no steps.

Small town family owned restaurant, pleasant atmosphere, fresh food, Hershey ice cream. What more can you ask for?

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! ? They have the BEST homemade chicken salad, literally the absolute greatest I have EVER tasted!! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich comes on a croissant instead of loaf bread combo $8.00) I fell in ! TRY THIS PLACE...you will not regret it.
