Hunan Empress - Chesterfield

We've been here for years. It's quite the only Chinese restaurant we're visiting. Food is consistently good and well prepared. COVID has changed its way of working and they have adapted well. The dining area is now much smaller, but its execution business is through the roof. You can also host parties and celebrations. The same family has managed this restaurant for decades and it is always at a high level of quality. If you didn't try this place, you must.

Super friendly, fast service, delicious tea, hot and sour soup great, eggs roll great, Crab Rangoon perfect, pan roast noodles with beef, chicken and shrimp fantastic.

They are open again for interior seats, nothing imagination only good food at great prices. Very pleasant waitress. They make a great deal of takeout. I was lucky to see Chewy last time and she looks great.

The Dine is in the back. Personally, this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in stl. This is not a cookie cutter restaurant and has good tasting food. The general taso has fresh garlic and ginger in it. The hot and acid soup has a unique restaurant and is absolutely beautiful and I love it. The lunch menu is almost too cheap! There were definitely problems during the Kovid times with the quality food, but now the immersion is all back as I love it. Notes for themselves. Potstickers were strangely sweet and gigantic.
