Frix's Fire Grill - Chester

I don't even know where to start. The restaurant claims to serve Brazilian cuisine, but it falls short. The caldo Verde soup, for example, was clearly not made by someone familiar with Brazilian or Portuguese cooking. Who puts hot dogs or sausage that tastes like hot dogs in it? Our steak was lacking in flavor. And don't even get me started on the black beans, which tasted like they came straight out of a can. The x-tudo burger is nothing like the real deal - it's supposed to taste amazing, but not at this place. This review is a real disappointment.

It?s getting harder to find great food at lunchtime with so many restaurants limiting their hours due to staff shortages. I found my way to Frix?s. The food is the main draw. During my meal I noticed many patrons didn?t need a menu. They were returningfor a fix of their favorite dish a different dish for each. I had the mahi mahi entree and it was wonderful smoky, sweetwith a hint of spice. The service was fantastic. Once you get past the strip mall, the restaurant is cozy.

My wife and I have driven by this restaurant several times, but we never stopped in until now. The place is humble and unassuming from the outside, but the service was outstanding, and the food was truly delightful and distinctive. While it may be a bit pricey, considering the quality of the food, I believe it is worth every penny.

We have always loved dining at this restaurant, as have our friends when we bring them along. Recently, after our visit last weekend, a client asked me for a restaurant suggestion and I recommended Frix's to them. My client was thrilled with their experience and even called me after their meal to express their gratitude for introducing them to such a wonderful place. In my opinion, the restaurant tends to get busy during dinner hours, so I would suggest making a reservation. However, when we go for lunch, even a late lunch, it is usually quite peaceful and not too crowded.

The service was great, food came out as expected and was delicious. The atmosphere was laid back and all the tables were seated when we arrived. This was the second time we had dinner here. We will definitely be returning. We had a great dining experience.
