The food was delicious . Vast variety of food choices. Clean toilets. Lots of seating. Amazing beer garden with play area and huge grass space.plenty of parking.

Booked in advance for a New Years Eve meal and given a booking for 7.30pm. On arrival was shown to the reserved table and told that they had stopped serving the meal at 7.00pm. But, they could offer us cheesy chips and a bowl of Tacco crisps. We had booked for a proper meal, the booking was originally done in person and taken by the manager. The staff seemed to not care about the situation or the booking made, just repeated that they had stopped serving meals.

We made a reservation for Sunday lunch with high hopes, but unfortunately the experience fell short. The food was decent, but the tables were extremely sticky, making it difficult to handle the plates. We brought this issue to the attention of our waitress, who apologized, but it was not satisfactory.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. My husband particularly enjoys the gammon, while I usually opt for the salmon. The only downside is that the lager is a bit pricey, which is why I have rated it four stars.

We had a party of 17 and not many places will accomadate a large booking. We sat in the conservatory area and had a few toddlers too so it was perfect. We were asked to pre order the mains.. The meals were delicious service /staff brilliant. We will visit again soon.
