Nobo - Chelmsford

Excellent sushi! Absolutely loved the service and smiles on everyones face. Ambiance is excellent, especially for the location. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Everybody who worked here was extremely nice. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. My only complaint was that the sushi was in my opinion not that great. I had the spicy combo (I forget the real name) which was filled with too many tempura flakes, besides the salmon jalapeño, which I enjoyed. We also had a Buddha roll; unfortunately it was ridiculously greasy, did not have great taste and was honestly the worst bite of sushi I’ve ever had. I’m sure there are a lot of redeeming things on the menu that we were unable to try. I would just recommend staying far away from the Buddha roll.

Bottom line: Great food, service and ambiance. Rice on nigiri was little overcooked but the freshness and proportions were on point! >Food: -Nigiri Set: rice a little over cooked but the rice to fish ratio was great for the nigiri and the tuna Maki that came with it had rice that wasn't thick but not thin either. -Kobe Spring Rolls: these were okay. A little too salty but had good steak flavor. >Service: Great! They were pleasant and food almost came one after the other. >Atmosphere: Nice, chill, elegant and relaxing.

Outstanding sushi and service in a modern and comfortable atmosphere. Every sushi roll was fresh and flavorful with some unique and delicious combinations and excellent ingredients. The Aloha roll was outstanding. Service was friendly and helpful though you may wait a bit for the sushi it is masterfully prepared with care and skill and well worth the wait. Pricing is fair for the quality and on par for the area. We were told the entrees are fusion style and will be back to try them in the future. I cannot recommend Nobo enough for any lovers of sushi nearby.

While other sushi restaurants in the area went downhill during and after Covid, this restaurant continues to serve quality sushi. I get takeout from this place weekly and it is so amazing. I love the speciality roles since they aren’t completely covered by mayo or eel sauce. The sauces complement the sushi and don’t overwhelm it. Also the service is amazing, we love the staff here! They make us feel so welcome.
