L'Escalier - Châteauroux

There were not too many places to eat on a Monday night in chateuroux but this was a great find tucked just behind the square. Staff friendly and helpful. Good menu options and reasonably priced. I had the beef which was a bit chewy but tasty. I'd defiantly return if I found myself in chateuroux again

I was not sure wether to give three or four stars for this restaurant. The food was plentiful although not overly imaginative. Lots of choice on the menu. It has a nice outside terrace, where we sat for our meal. The service was good.We will definitely return here.

We went there for lunch and was not disappointed. The Menu du Jour was excellent. The service very friendly and the restaurant is clean and cosy. We will come back soon.
