Tip Top - Charlottesville

Fast and friendly service! We showed up during the Sunday church and the line was out of the door. We just waited about 5 minutes before we sit down. The food was delicious and everything was right. We definitely come back!

We stopped here after we spent the afternoon in Monticello before we went home. The best description for Tip Top is a Greek-American dîner who has decidedly local vibes. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were satisfied with our meal. I have the lasagna that was delicious. My girl has the bean and ham soup and a side of fries. The Pommes are like steakfries and should be what all restaurants should strive for. If you are a local or just go through how we were, definitely stop.

This way home from Carter Berg. The restaurant was sweet, the service was good, and the food was okay. They were from many things. I originally ordered cookies and Gravy, but they were from cookies. Then I got an Omelet that came with local fries.... Omelet was good, but domestic frits lacked spices and I prefer to be crispy. I'd go to dinner again.

If I were to give ZERO stars. I don't know what the waitress had behind her, but she was very rude at my stand. Break if you want to ask for specials and change our order after they had written on the order. Then she had the nerve to murmure herself to make rude comments when we always thank her for ordering to bring our drinks and bring our food. She also gave us crazy napkins from the table next to us! If she didn't want to serve a black person, she would have asked someone to be our waitress. I've never experienced this before, but I'm sure I'm not back.

Excellent service and the food was outstanding! We ordered a chicken souvlaki pita, BLT, tuna sandwich, roast beef sandwich, and spinach salad. Everyone agreed it was delicious and we would definitely order again! The onion rings were fantastic and crispy! Sorry, ate too much of the pita before remembering to take a picture
