Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe Charlotte Providence

Ging today to Whole Foods and saw the sign for this place and thought my family would try as we were on a rope course all day and were very hungry. I was really excited about the classic aromas of a gyro. We ordered 3 grilled chickens gyro meals and a Pita and Taziki sauce appetizer. My Hubby put the food in the car and then we stayed at 1 more store. When I came back to the car, I was surprised I didn't smell food. Greek food is tasteful and usually aromatic. I was worried. Hubby said he saw someone else eat in the restaurant and it looked good. We ate home. It's getting weird here. I can't say it was bad, but I can't say it was good. What I can say is that it seemed fresh, but absolutely NO FLAVOR! The only thing that had taste was the Taziki sauce with my pitas. My husband said the gyro didn't have the same sauce in it, why don't we taste it?! My cucumber and tomato salad was fresh and crispy, but again....no taste. Even the feta crumbs on it did not taste so much. My Nabeby's pasta salad said he was good, but NO Flavor. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked, but again lack of taste. I swear, I was so confused. I thought I lost my taste, but my neck and my son said the same, no taste! To spend almost $40 and not really taste a lot is frustrating. We don't eat much, because nothing seems to be worth any more, and unfortunately it only confirmed. Ps... the potato chips given with the meal are strange for Greek food. It's fluffy... we were offered a page with the meal. I would rather give rice automatically and then offer an additional page, or perhaps more of the page you choose. Jump into the chips. That's my advice. I don't want to sound like I'm going through the place. It was honestly just bizarre to lack so much taste. I hope you're more lucky than us.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Great tasting. I had lamb fur. Plenty of food. Appropriate price. Parking available.

Used Tordash and ordered directly at $60 value food last night, 9-2-22. The delivery was delayed and when I finally got the food, it had my name on the bag, but it was only worth about $20 food and it was nothing I had ordered. I would blame the door lock driver, but the bag had my name on it. Taziki is obviously grounded. I made a whole dinner for my family. Very disappointing.

Nice lunch. Traveling for work and wanted something?healthy?, salad is healthy. I have the Mediterranean salad with lamb. Very tasteful.

The shrimp taco special on Thursday is by far one of the best shrimp tacos I have ever had! All the sides are amazing. I have yet to have anything here that I don't like.
