Oggi Italiano - Charlotte

I recently visited Oggi for the second time and was planning on ordering the same dishes as before - the Tuna Tartar and crab meat ravioli with lobster sauce. However, our exceptional waitress convinced me to try a special instead. I used to wait tables in college and was impressed by how she expertly guided me to try something new for a great experience. If you ever see the Trout special on the menu, be sure to order it - it was delicious. We had to change our date night plans when our sitter cancelled, so we brought our son along. Despite being in a mood, Patricia quickly put him at ease and made him laugh. As someone from the Northeast, I can confidently say that Oggi is the best Italian restaurant in Charlotte.

The food and service were excellent. The menu offers a great selection of dishes. The social distancing measures were comfortable, especially in the side seating area. I would definitely recommend this upscale Italian restaurant.

This was our second time visiting OGGI and we were just as impressed as we were on our last visit. The starters, salads, and entrees were all great. Their fresh-made pastas seem to be consistently delicious and their specials are interesting and worth trying. The feel of the restaurant leans a bit casual, but it is very cozy inside and the service is good. Definitely a place we will keep in our rotation for good Italian food.
