Bidrage med feedbackThe food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic and the customer service is excellent! Even my picky toddler loves the meals here. The service is top-notch and very fast, couldn't ask for better.
I arrived at 1:45, 15 minutes before closing time at 3 pm. However, the door was locked and we could see people inside through the windows. Eventually, a server came to the door and told us they were closed, despite their listed hours being until 3. When we pointed out that there were open tables and no one waiting, the server simply said they had too many people waiting. There was no apology or invitation to return. Despite overlooking the slightly dirty floor, frequent lack of entrees on the menu, and inconsistent service, I always enjoyed their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich. Nonetheless, we won't be returning as there are plenty of other brunch places in Charlotte to try. It's interesting how we can get stuck in a routine and tolerate subpar experiences like this.
I found this restaurant online and decided to give it a try since it was conveniently located near my other activities. Upon entering, I noticed the floors were sticky and the first restroom I used was not very clean. My husband and I opted to sit outside, which was a better choice. The waitress was friendly but a bit slow in attending to our needs. I ordered the tot bowl, which was tasty but lacking in meat compared to what I saw in a picture. The tots were crispy and delicious. My husband's hamburger was good but undercooked for a medium-well order. Overall, I felt the prices were too high for the portion sizes. While I wouldn't return to this restaurant, it's always worth trying out new places. Parking was available in a garage behind the restaurant, but it was a bit tricky to find the entrance. The restaurant had wheelchair accessibility, but it may be difficult to maneuver inside due to chairs blocking the way. Dining outside would be a better option, especially on a nice day.
The food at this restaurant is amazing! We were very impressed by the quality of the food. However, we were confused about how to order as we had to stand in line and place our order at the host stand, then take a number. The restaurant appeared to be full service but actually operated more like a casual eatery. Our hot coffee arrived in a soup bowl, which was unexpected. Despite a wobbly table and dusty lights, the food was delicious. The donuts with butterfly cheese and mixed berry topping were outstanding. We also tried the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which was out of this world. The brammen speck was perfectly cooked and served on a soft potato roll. Overall, the food was excellent, even if the atmosphere was a bit lacking.
This cozy little restaurant is unique in that customers order and pay first before finding a table. If you sit at the bar, you'll receive full service. I tried the chicken biscuits with delicious Tater tots, and no breakfast is complete without mimosas. I will definitely be back again!
