Gonzoburger - Charleston

Great dining experience. My waitress was helpful and knowledgeable in offerings and selection of beer and menu. Bar is clean. Service was very good. Good selection of burgers and very happy with my meal, El Jefe, had no issues or concerns. Liked the gonzo sauce on burger. A shame it wasn’t Friday as I would have automatically opted for the fish’n’chips.

Great find on the Charleston West Side! Amazing burgers and fries, and a super cool setting with a rich history. Love how they feature local art on the walls too. Definitely recommend!

We enjoy their burgers and the Friday special of fish and chips. Additionally we enjoy this section of town and the hard work that the local business owners have committed to making this area fun and inviting. The building and interior of this restaurant is beautiful. When you stop by, don't forget to take a minute to examine the fine detail and craftsmanship of the antique bar counter. The tin ceiling and tilework takes you back to a bye-gone era. We enjoy the food and service and we can't wait until the planned street lighting project is completed.

Drove across town to see what all the hype was about regarding this place. I was not disappointed. I had the best hamburger I've ever tasted and wished I had ordered the larger one. The seasoning on the burger was mouthwatering. I had a Grecian salad to go with it and it was very good, too. The lettuce was so fresh and crisp. I will be going back this coming week for another.

We were traveling through and wanted a good burger joint. Gonzoburger is a cute establishment in an old building but not impressed with the service nor food. We were seating right away and ordered our drinks. Several of us ordered water and it was definitely out of the tap because it tasted like chlorine yuk! My husband ordered a Blue Moon beer and they were out of oranges disappointed! I asked about the mushroom garlic appetizer but was told they were out of mushrooms seriously? We ordered our meals and waited, and waited, and WAITED! Once our food was served, the fries were cold, my husband didn't want toppings on his burger, but they put all the toppings on it anyway, the kids asked for ranch for a dipping sauce, but they were out of ranch surprise, surprise! Burgers were just ok. Their ONLY saving grace was the onion rings were amazing! I would never go again.
