Guglhupf Bakery - Chapel Hill

This bakery has delicious cream puffs!! I had two of them in row. This place has no dine in currently but there are seats outside. They also have a lot of snack options, breads, croissants etc. coffee is good too.

My husband was born in Germany and we are always looking for cool spots that remind him of home. This place was amazing!!

Looking for some of the best baked goods Durham has to offer? Get your buns over to Guglhupf. Huge variety of fresh goodies. Can't go wrong with any of it, but the lemon treats are my favorite.

Finally took my husband for brunch and he is a fan! I got a single pancake instead of the stack of 3 and a side of bacon. It was still too much food but was so delicious. I also had the featured iced lavender latte and it was PERFECT! Be back soon!

The baked goods are good but I think the bakery is a little over rated. Or maybe I came by on an off day. I ordered several different pastries, including the veg and meat quiches, some pretzel breads, focaccia, danishes, etc. The soft pastries and danishes with fillings were WONDERFUL. Quite delicious. The quiches were not all that amazing. And the focaccia bread was hard and difficult to chew. Maybe I should have gone earlier in the day when things were more fresh. I’m happy to give it another go.
