Mellow Mushroom - Chantilly

This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of pizza and beer! A great new addition to Centreville!

We made a reservation on Open Table and were seated as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was perfect for Father's Day. The cloud 9 wings were delicious to start. The Wild in Havana and Buffalo Chicken Pizza were both outstanding! The prices were very reasonable and our family had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning!

I've been going to Mellow Mushroom for about 2 decades now. This was my first stop in Chantilly as I had to kill some time before dropping some family at Dulles. Food was as expected, however, they seem to be extremely understaffed. It took about an hour to get served our pizza. Probably not the place to go if you are in a rush.

On Mother's Day, we arrived at the restaurant with a reservation and were seated promptly. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we placed our order. We waited nearly an hour for our food, during which time numerous pizzas were quickly delivered to-go, indicating a lack of priority for diners in the restaurant. Many patrons, including myself, were left feeling frustrated by the mismanagement of the establishment. This was my second visit to Mellow Mushroom, and based on this experience, I have no intention of returning. The pizza was excessively greasy and salty, and the lack of healthier options was disappointing. The salads were uninspiring and uninteresting. Despite the attractive atmosphere and decor of the restaurant, the overall dining experience was far from satisfactory.

We probably order the vegan veg pizza twice a month, honestly. You use Follow Your Heart cheese and it is worth the price of pizza!. They seem to add to their vegan section, so I am thrilled!
