Chadds Ford Tavern

This was our first time here and we will most definitely be going back!! From the moment we walked in till we left, everything was spectacular! We were seated right away. Reservations are required. Our server greeted us right away and had our drink orders quickly. Spacing of appetizers and entrees was just right. Food was cooked as desired and was out of this world! I highly recommend the cinnamon apple donuts for dessert! Our server was attentive but not hovering and was super friendly as was all the staff we encountered. Can't wait to go again!

I was visiting from another state and my friend made reservations here for dinner. To start, there were no parking options except valet parking which was rather odd despite plenty of parking spaces. I have never been anywhere with no option to self-park. Especially coming out of Covid and being immune compromised, I do not want strangers in my car. Then we were informed we could park in the lot next door but would likely get towed. Really? That's the option you are going to offer for someone patronizing your business and spending money! Once seated, I had the chicken with Gnocchi. The Gnocchi was disgusting! It tasted like gooey paste in my mouth. After 2 bites I was done with that. Sadly, this could be a nice place to eat if they were customer friendly! I would not waste my money here again!Parking: See my comments above.

It was wonderful. More parking will help— if that is possible.

Food was mediocre at best, and it was incredibly hot in the restaurant. Surprised by all of the positive reviews. We will not be returning.

Food was good, fast service, we liked the old time feel, would go back.
