Look, the food is nice and well priced but the restaurant doesn't flow and feels cramped and outdated. I know it's a pub and the restaurant isnt the focus but it could do with a freshen up. Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Chicken Ceasar

We have lunch here every Tuesday for the $15 parmigiana, just because it's Melbourne Cup Day the lunch specials changed and doubled in price, what a gouge.

Northy tav.. aka the old sillys aaahhhhh where to begin.. to be a patron here is great due to the services, that’s for sure.. To work here is another story.. the staff when you look in their eyes are scared due to the third reich type leadership which is a shame they are great staff..but to manage or supervise when you’re still dictated hard upon is a no for me.. one of those places that give you a title but you don’t feel That’s what you are with the scrutiny. Some even forget when there’s been major issues with the beer lines and yell and punish you for handing out flat beers to save a conflict and have people leave which then for me is a loss of turnover from locals who played frequently over charging them and more arguments ‍ If you aren’t in the correct clique you won’t gel either it now apparently seems.. right down to security, to busy talking absolute irrelevant nonsense to the point you want to bang your head against a wall. To be fare I couldn't take much more of his consistent yammering on, or the inflated ego of being better. Or allowing patrons to sweet talk him and have them linger around when I’m Trying to close and go home at 3am.. can’t say I’m a fan of being ran by a bunch of delegates yuppies who don’t know the first thing about a bar at midnight.. or management who I said forget they turned the beer taps and gas lines off on me due to issues then make an issue weeks later next time I’ll just do what’s the norm there and tell people off and have another incident report So to anyone looking to seek employment t not just with northy tav but laundy hotels.. Be prepared to run under a regime similar to The Third Reichs.. Update: don’t tell me to come and contact you guys and discuss matters when you proved how shady you lot can be coming up to the days before my chat about as professional as the Centrelink call centre and we all know how useless that system is hahaha..
