Carol's Home Bakery - Cavan

I went to this restaurant with colleagues for coffee and snacks, but was disappointed by the subpar service. The pastries were overcooked, and despite the small size of the cafe, we had to wait a long time for our orders. The staff was decent, but the food and drinks were overpriced and not very good. There is definitely room for improvement.

This bakery is fantastic. The food is consistently fresh and the staff is always friendly. There is ample seating catering to couples and families. I grabbed some Oreo muffins and white chocolate chip with raspberry muffins - they were really fresh and incredibly delicious. I will definitely continue to visit for delicious treats.

Today, I visited this restaurant with a friend to have coffee and scones. The coffee was decent, but the scones were severely overbaked and not enjoyable at all. They were so hard that they crumbled when we tried to cut them. Additionally, the restaurant is very small and cramped.

Delicious cakes and buns. Tea was good and the staff are lovely. Our sons got muffins and we got lemon cake.. would recommend trying!!

Quaint cafe with an excellent choice of cakes and pastries. Lovely homely cafe in the heart of Cavan. Great for a pick me up cup of tea or coffee and cake. Their vast choice will have you sitting down watching the hustle and bustle outside while not being able to resist staying a little longer to enjoy another cuppa. Great place for a snack
