Baita Spitzbuehl Huette - CASTELROTTO

Everyone who carries out his research would not have been as surprised as I was when I showed up here at 16:30 on a quiet beautiful afternoon. the grassy slope in front of the Spitsbühl-Hütte (baita) was filled with paragliders, which plunge into the afternoon sun. Model gliders enthusiasts used the short gaps in between to start their gliders for some exciting aerobics that float past the hut's terrace. that alone would have been worth a 5-star rating, but the hut is also quite neat. friendly Dirndl-Clad waiter served a very nice latte macchiato and beat a kaminwort with a broth basket, as the kitchen was closed at the time and only cold dishes were served. kuchen was still in the offer, but the kaminwurz with kren (spicy raddish creme) was quite delicious and I only had to add the french white beer. the last sessellift went around 17:15 clock, but it was really too nice to go (about 20 min to foot to the parking space at the bottom of the sessellift). Oldie songs didn't play too loud in the background and the atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed. a perfect place to finish a day hike.

This is at the rande of the pisten in alped’siusi. brilliantly looking at the dolomites. friendly staff. warm atmosphere. drinks are cheap.

A part of the great position, this baita offers wonderful food (very recommended yogurt with fresh local berries and strudel service is ready and beautiful. a place that is not to miss.

Good eating, very clean and comfortable environment at the tip of the pointed chairlift. serves a good selection including something for children who many do not. stop for coffee or lunch

Chemical meat ! Artificial, Tasteless !!! Nothing to talk about the food. Bring your own food. Great view and a place for paragliding.
