Best pasta we have had in years served by the wonderful Salvatore! Spectacular views and the food is delicious.

We have been in Puglia and Basilicata for 10 days. The incredible meal here has been our best, equally as good as the Michelin starred restaurants back home in California. The food is presented artistically and gracefully by a friendly, professional staff. The owner and chef greeted us at the end of the meal and was so charming. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. You must visit!

Finding ourselves in the enchanting Castelmezzano to visit the famous Dolomites Lucane, we could only try the local gastronomic specialities. Spacious and welcoming location, good service, excellent quality raw materials, preparation of dishes to improve. Specifically the cod in oilcooking, in my opinion should be served with less cooking water and a little more gratin. Famous fig ice cream. Prices are a little high with respect to what you eat. However we do not discard the possibility to return (it must always give another opportunity.As for the village of Castelmezzano and its position has left us amazed, the village, the nature and the wonderful mountains surrounding it are of incredible beauty. Surely we will return to venture into the flight of the angel. Basilicata definitely deserves to be known from the whole world. We will return You plan a visit to this fantastic place.
