Our 9€ menu included melon with ham, vegetable salad (ensaladilla rusa), meat with potatoes, drinks and home made dessert. The stablishment had no luxuries and it was too noisy: heavy metal music sounded very high. Staff was local and kind. Despite the noise, we enjoyed our meal.
We stopped here for lunch, even though it was 15.50 they still let us in and the 'cod fritters ' we had were so unbelievably good that we immediately reserved a table for dinner the same night : The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dinner did not disappoint, the goat stew was, as they assured us, out of this world and the best we have had anywhere. The stuffed peppers too were incredible. The portions are VERY generous and very reasonably priced, as is the wine! We left the area to stay in Soto de Agues the next day but the restaurants were nothing in comparison and the staff unfriendly so we drove all the way back and ate here again the next night! Goat again (was too good not to and also the prawns and baby broad beans in garlic as a starter, sublime. Also they make an excellent coffee. We haven 't eaten out for a long time due to covid fears but everything felt very safe here, tables were distanced and staff wore masks. Highly, highly recommend, we will return!
My father and I took a trip back to his homeland and discovered family we didn 't realize was so close to us. Among those family members are the owners of this restaurant. We spent an afternoon/evening here and tried many tasty dishes and of course the cidra (cider), which is the local drink. My favorite dish had to be the Pastel de Puerros con Salsa de Setas. It is nestled between the beautiful mountains of the area with breathtaking views whether you sit inside or outdoors. The service is one of the best we experienced in Spain. We will be back next year for the family and the food! See you in 2018, primo!
We had dinner here on saturday, choosing different dishes from the menu during a live concert. We had goat, octopus, and cheese and ham croquets, and they were all good. Also the wine was good. The service was fast and friendly. Reccomended.
