Skrimp Shack - Cary

Visited this location earlier this week and absolutely loved it. Arrived today, after a 30min drive from work, hoping to enjoy lunch but the doors were locked. Peeped inside to see the staff sitting down watching television. I called the landline to find out they had locked the doors due to the cook not being present. The lady stated she did not know what time the cook would be arriving. I am not really sure why they only have one person trained to drop fish and chips. I wasn’t the only person disappointed by this confusion, there were about 6 other hungry patrons awaiting answers as to why the staff were inside but the doors locked. Not sure if I will be returning to this location anytime soon.

We've been coming here since they opened. Love the food. Brittany is great. Just beware that ordering from the kiosk is suboptimal, and if you want one of the specials, you have to order from the cashier to get the discount.

Nice clean restaurant. Service was fast. Fod was hot and very good. Best part it not greasy and you could taste the fish.

Cute place! Not many people here. Takes awhile to get food. The cashier was brushing her hair at the register. Looks like she's wearing pajamas. Gross! Imagine what's going on in the kitchen :

The food is good but the service sucks!! You can’t place an order and pick it up you have to go in and stand for 20 minutes to get food!!! The people have no respect for your time!! I called to place an order and they said they don’t do call in order because people call in order and don’t come get them!! That’s a sad excuse to not help customers whom need expedient service!!!
