Lidl - Cary

Need to improve check out experience. One surprising thing I noticed is they have self checkout but they are mostly red and barricaded . Why doesn’t this store not make effective use of their self checkouts? And in the actual checkout section there is hardly any cashiers to check out customers. So pathetic.

The place is nice and clean.the only thing I was dissatisfied about is that they charge you for the bags where as other stores give it for free.the store is big and has a variety of items and they have good quality too.

Nice clean store. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I do think this store doesn't quite have everything the Cary store does. It is also set up differently. However, it is convenient so I'm sure I will shop there again.

Even though I can't get everything I need here, I can get most of what I need and the prices can't be beat!

I first went to a Lidl years ago in Bratislava and was glad when they and their unnamed 'cousin ' came to the states. In general, I go there over large grocery chains because they 're more convenient, not as crowded, and the people are nice. Not to mention, the prices are lower. The in-store bakery, while not as robust as the stores in Europe, is a good thing. Lately, I 've noticed that the produce leaves something to be desired, but I think that 's an industry transportation problem. Some things are spoiled on the shelves, so beware. Also, check dates where they are available because sometimes they 're close.
